Mentoring & Consulting Services
BoyZ 2 MEN, INC. provides a personal, one-on-one experience between young people and an assigned role model. At times, we request that these sessions include the youth’s parents/guardians. This process allows our consultants to use their experience in counseling, anger management, drug and alcohol treatment, and criminal justice work, to bring clarity and better overall perspective toward the best route for the youth to be successful.
Our consultants work with the parents/guardians, while our mentors work with the young person to understand their interests, their experiences, and, most of all, their concerns. Many times when concerns are taken for granted, a gap or distance is created between the young person and the parents/guardians, or anyone else who is supposed to have the youth’s best interests at heart.
Our mentors have experienced what many youth experience every day. These shared experiences help to minimize the distance between mentors and the youth we serve. The process also allows our mentors to connect easily with the youth and to introduce them to the six models for reaching success.
Public Speaking
BoyZ 2 MEN, INC. is a story about overcoming adversity and tough times. Our role models want to present youth with ideas of how they can enhance the quality of their lives. We believe that no man, woman or child can prove their merit in quiet waters. So, we invite you to ask our speakers and consultants to speak at your schools, universities, churches, juvenile facilities/prisons, and communities.
We want to offer our experiences as to how young people can navigate through choppy waters. Our speakers and consultants will travel where the youth are because, where our youth are is where our future is. Abraham Lincoln said, "The best way to predict your future is to create it."
Allow our speakers and consultants to inspire and spark the inherent creativity in our youth so that they will bring forth their full potential and create a prosperous future.
