Marsha L. McDevitt, BS, Founder of BoyZ 2 Men, INC. has over 25 years in the area of social justice and reform. Born and raised near Altoona, Pennsylvania, Marsha started her career in Corrections as an Officer and Hostage Negotiator, respectfully. Coupled with countless training hours and education, she began teaching Criminal Justice with a concentration of curriculum in Criminal Reform, Professional Development and Effective Communication Skills. Experience in MH/MR, counseling of Adjudicated Child Offenders and Drug and Alcohol Treatment.
Marsha brings much to offer in coaching, mentoring and consulting today’s youth in reaching their highest potential. Marsha has had countless individual testimonies throughout her career of success through mentoring and parental support. One such individual was a young man incarcerated at age 15
years of age. Through encouragement and positive
influence, Marsha provided hope to this person who went on to receive an education as well as combatted addiction.
Her experience includes school and home involvement,
whereby developing curriculum in group settings that aid
in communication between our youth and the adults that
surround them. Marsha is also knowledgeable in A.C.Es.
A. C. Es stands for Adverse Childhood Experiences and
this type of training is trauma based care.
